Maitri is the founder and artistic director of Bollywood Dance Studio & Bolly Active Fitness with more than 12 years of experiences as a Choreographer, Instructor and a Performing Artist. She has worked with highly celebrated choreographers and received her formal training at Shaimak Davar’s Institute of Performing Arts, Mumbai. She is also trained in Bharatnatyam; an Indian Classical Dance Form, Garba, Dandiya, Salsa, Ballroom Dancing, Hip Hop and Funk.
Her credits include, Bollywood Week at the Big Brother Show (Gold Coast), Brisbane International Film Festival, Spice Festival, Gold Coast International Film Festival, Gladrags MegaModel, Brisbane City Council, Brisbane Citizenship Ceremony ,William Street Festival and many more.
Dance is her first love and passion and she enjoys teaching and spreading her love for all things Bollywood.

Kusum has been dancing and performing for over 15 years. She started dancing at the age of 8 by learning the Indian Classical dance form Bharathnatyam. Her passion for dancing continued while performing in various school & college events as well as family, & community programs.
Her experience includes Bollywood, Indian classical, folk dance and Salsa. She is also a certified Dietitian, working as a Weight loss consultant and a mother to a Rithi, who loves watching her mum dance.
Kusum loves Bollywood movies & songs and enjoys the happiness they bring to her. Bollywood dancing has been her passion and she is actively involved as a BDS dance instructor and performer.

Hashruti is someone who lives by ‘Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.’ She enjoys dancing, performing & has been a part of our spectacular events like the William Street Festival, Bolly Glitz Annual Dance Recital 2015 & absolutely cherishes teaching our dance classes. She brings in a fresh and enthusiastic approach, but most of all a beautiful smile... which makes it a pleasure to work with her.
As the Brand Architect for Bollywood Dance Studio, Hashruti manages and constantly strives to upgrade the standard of our events. Her passion for creativity keeps her going. She is the creative guru behind the branding and promotion of our events. She enjoys content writing & has successfully drafted scripts for all our Annual Dance Concerts & also compered a few of our events.
After completing her Masters in Advertising (Creative Majors) at Queensland University of Technology, Hashruti worked on a short project at Austereo, Brisbane as an Events Co-ordinator. In search of greener pastures she relocated to Adelaide, and spent about 4 yrs in the lovely festival state, gaining some good experience within the private and the public sector. In her leisure time, she loves painting and cherishes creative writing.

Ro is obsessed with Bolly dancing and absolutely loves teaching and spreading the love of Bollywood. She is trained in Sri Lankan traditional dancing called Kandian and has been performing various styles of dancing since the age of 4.
She is a Bolly Active Master Trainer and Content Creator along with being a qualified group fitness instructor. She enjoys teaching high energy Bolly Fitness classes & performing for BDS events.
Ro has completed her Bachelors in Marketing and Masters in International Business and International Commercial Law at UWA. She is a valuable asset to the team and we love having her on board.

Sneha has always being in love with Bollywood dance and movies. Her passion for dancing started from the age of 8 and has taken part in various school functions and community functions.
Sneha has had experiences in Bollywood dance, classical Indian dance and folk dancing too but she enjoys watching all forms of dancing.
She specializes in teaching our kids and bubs dance classes. Kids absolutely love her energy and teaching style.
She has completed her Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting and business information system and is pursuing her chartered accounting now.
